GOOD FOR ME.

I've basically wanted braces all my life and as a side effect of not ever getting them I was ridiculed most of the days of my childhood... As I grew up the awareness of the crooked teeth wore off and I'd just accepted it as final and only remembered the flaw when I met someone new or when a small child insisted I looked like the Easter bunny. Well I've taken the jump and now I feel self conscious ALLLL over again.

The orthodontist was insistent that I have a tooth on the bottom removed because my jaw would surely not be able to house all the teeth I had if they were straight. I was so pumped up about this after getting my braces on that immediately upon leaving the orthodontist I called up my dentist and requested the soonest appointment they had available. The receptionist told me I could have it removed at 2 o'clock that very same day! I did it. I regreted that decision for a couple days and now I look like a hillbilly.

In three months I get the bottom braces put on. I'm very excited for this all to be over and it's just started.

  1. Yay for you!!! I've needed braces forever too and keep procrastinating getting them. My front teeth are rather crooked, though I think I hide them well, you can only see it real good at certain angles if I'm smiling big. Anyway, you are HOT to trot no matter what, but I know the feeling of being self conscious about teeth, since I am about mine, so I think it's going to be well worth your braced efforts!!
